Wordplay focuses on the interesting dualities of words in the English language, visualizing their meanings in ways we may have not considered before.
Wordplay: Glasses
"Is the glass half-empty or half-full?" is one of the most well-known English idioms. The phrase asks us: how do you view the world and the situations that occur within it? Do you have a more pessimistic (glass half-empty) viewpoint or a more optimistic (glass half-full) one? Normally, this expression is illustrated with drinking glasses, but I wanted to visualize the concept through another kind of glasses - the glasses we wear on our face to improve or change our vision. After all, the expression is talking about how we see the world and eyeglasses help us do that. We all have different lenses through which we experience life, and the mindset we carry makes a huge difference in how we react and exist. So today, when we wake up to the troubled and difficult state of the world, let's take a moment to decide which glasses we want to wear: glasses half-empty or glasses half-full.

Wordplay: Ghosting
Ghosting potions for the modern era, blocking all the calls, emails, and messages from people you don't want to deal with. Use with caution, because they always come at a cost. 👻
Nowadays, it's hard to find someone who hasn't been ghosted (or been the ghost) at some point in their lives. After all, it's easy to be a ghost when oftentimes all it takes to activate our transformation into the invisible is a simple tap of the block button. I imagine that if the act of ghosting was bottled up into a tangible object, it would be packaged in these cute ghost-shaped potions that would be bestsellers quite literally flying off the shelves, leaving many lost connections in their wake.

Wordplay: Tea
"Tea" is a word of multiple meanings nowadays: it doesn't just refer to a simple drink anymore - it's also the internet's current favorite word for gossip. As much as I enjoy tea (the drink), I try to avoid the other tea (gossip) as much as I can, because it often ends up being a scavenger hunt of unpleasant things. Some things are just better left unsaid.
